I arrived Helsinki at the end of September, which was a great experience, a really great city. The weather was great at the time but this didn’t last for long as November ushered in one of the worst winters in twenty years in Finland. I expected that this weather would bring things to a halt but the city kept on going. The coach service to the airport run by Finnair did not falter.
I took some incredible shots of Helsinki's two Cathedrals, which seemed to appear even more mesmerizing in the snowstorms. The intensity of the snowstorm forced me to change my flight home with British Airways to Finnair, which meant I would get home two days before Christmas
